know of any other despcriptions for the despicables of the world?

I went to see a poet and
he told me you would know it
so I came to ask the question
why is the news so depressing?
They are all giving me symptoms of PMS.
Moody when I see that the
rich are getting richer,
and the poor are getting oil from
Venezuela to heat their homes.
I have crying spells
when I see the statistics of yet another
drug addicted, sex convicted,
person has harmed a child.
The breaking news is always
about murder and mayhem,
Homicide and suicide
Shootings and robberies,
rapes and violence.
My moods are swinging as
Dan Rather and Charles Gibson
Play ping pong with bad news.
Im plagued with fatigue
And even the MTV news
covers stories about a war that’ll never end
about a world that’ll never transcend beyond fighting
for a strip of land that
Jesus and Mohmnned taught
To be peaceful on.
If the poet is confounded,
and you look befuddled and astounded,
who would have the answer
to save me from
a midol overdose?
