Response to being asked out...I think

    Love's fingers
    Grasp my throat
    Strangling me
    But my response is muffled
    My breathe is growing weak
    Colder every second, staler
Like the pizza from the night before
    Eyes swaying
    Locking on the empty bottles
    Seconds fly by
    My mouth opens
    Words soaring out
    A staggering heart
    My answer,
    An uncertain yes.

To me this seems like commitment without confidence. Perhaps because when you're in this situation its like you're walking on a tightrope, and expected not to be concerned with the possibility of falling. Its good to be cautious because this cautiousness could be coming from a legitimate concern. But most of the time is there is no risk there is no gain. I don't know but I really liked this, and I added it to my favorites.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this looks like you're being asked out for the first time like Mieko said. Although from a guy perspective, a hesitent yes could mean a lot of things. All in all great job.

:x Odd. Because this is how I felt the first time I got asked out.
Except I burst into tears and wondered why they were asking me in the first place D:
