Description: Again, just like in my other poem 'Jealousy' poems don't have to rhyme. I wrote this about my now ex-boyfriend but we were together at the time.
Love -------------------------------------------
You shouldn't keep secrets
from the ones you love.
If you truely love someone,
tell them.
Don't hold it in
or you might never get to
tell them just how you feel.
Anounce your love publicly
if you want
or in private.
You never know
what tomorrow might bring
so tell and show
that person just how you feel.
Don't hold anything back.
Love them with all your heart
and tell them
and show them
that you do everyday.
Hold them,
kiss them,
hug them,
but most of all
tell them you love them.
9/10 of my poems don't rhyme, so I'm on board with the "poems don't have to rhyme" issue.
I think this was sweet and sincere. I agree that if you love someone you should shout it from the roof tops because if you don't tell the person, you could regret it.
I've been with my fiance for over 3 years and every day we say we love each other at least three times. It's silly but I just need to make sure he still knows, because I do love him so much.
I don't think this was meant to be a complex poem, nor was it meant to win "poem of the year" but it was sweet and an enjoyable read.
