Alone in my Memories

You’re a disease I can’t shake
You’re there behind me with every move I make
You’re chasing me around and around
& I can’t find a road out of this town
Cause every road doesn’t lead to home
I just want to be alone

So this is what it’s like to feel hated
To feel abused and discriminated
Something’s crying out to me in my sleep
It tells me I’m not listening, but I can hear it clearly
Please don’t go, don’t leave me here alone
To rot and die in this place I used to call home

I feel like I’ve waited an eternity
Just to hear you say something earnestly
But I know inside that I’ve waited a day to long
I’ve wasted too many words on too many songs
You would always look but you would never see
You told me you had no one, but you always had me
Everyday I waited till you would come home
But you just left me here alone

i really like this, its stripped down to raw emotion, which is what you're proven to be good at. it shows a confliction of emotions that are natural and yet escape reason; you want someone back so badly, but their persistant presence makes you insane. only one error that i can see,
"It’s tells me I’m not listening, but I can hear it clearly"
just change the It's to it, or some other pronoun, and it'll be one more damned good write.

aww... really great write! i could feel the raw emotions which was kinda depressing.. it's simple but it sez a lot nice job

if this is about you, hmm.. all i can say is that good luck on moving on. We all have a certain something inside that will (try to) hold us back. But the right move would be to try to live with it and just keep on walking.. At least that works for me ^__^

Anyway, if you could, please check out some of the stuff i've written.. Would appreciate it a bunch. Again.. nice write! Enjoyed reading it though it did make me feel somewhat depressed.
