Greed is all around
Wars with no reason exist
Starvation we have resources to stop
Ongoing is the list
Abortions that could be avoided
Diseases we knowingly spread
Injustice that's constantly growing
All this is on our head
All of these could be stopped
If we would only try
Instead it's getting worse
And nobody's doing a thing... Why?

Why? …coz pple don’t care and those who do write about it instead of doing something, and few are those who react , I’m not proud of myself since I haven’t done anything to help this world become a better place,at least not yet, and the fact is that I’m living the tragedies of war , it’s ironic I’m writing about it as I’m witnessing it next to my place , but I guess humans left the tragedies to be solved by the helpless time .
It’s a noble subject you wrote about in your poem , and I very much like it , I only talked about war when the other things you mentioned are also just as dangerous .
Good job

With all of the consumerism around us, how can one avoid being greedy, and selfish and ignorant? We are all blind, but it isn't completely our fault. It is impossible to stop, it is impossible to cure. It isn't an individual sin, rather a social sin.
Some people do try, but they are the one's who recieve the injustice. What are you doing to help? What have you done? It's easy to write about, but at the end of the day it seems all we have is our words.
I really like this. It makes me think of the world and all its problems and how there are so many things we could do but we don't, we just sit around and talk about doing something. It's pitiful really.
Asking why at the end really has a dramatic 'one person stands alone' effect to it that nicely ends this piece.
