    -------------------------------------------

    Noontide
    Sun hung high
    I lay in a circle
    Cleverly placed
    Starting to float
    Are the tears
    Upon my face.
    I cry for you
    For you never learned
That this is a time for sadness,
    Facade always stern.
    So, the tears
    Will travel miles
    Since you didn't stay.
    I was only a lover
    That never learned to love.
I hope these tears catch sunlight
    Before they get to you,
    Long endeavor
    Let them be warm
    Like a heart
Who does cry always for you.
    Deep down I pray
You never have to shed a tear
    May you never feel sorrow
    Far away, still feels near.
    When you want to cry
    Let me know
    I'll flood the world
    With my own.

Intoxicating and very emotional but not simple the way some emotion based poetry can be. If it can truly stir an emotional reaction in a reader then it is truly a masterpiece as is any poem that does the same thing. Congratulations. You truly know what you write and you seem to write from your heart as well as from your mind which should be the way everyone who claim themselves poets. Excellent! :)
