    -------------------------------------------

    When the big BANG came
Worlds collided and turned my insides out.
I mistakenly thought it meant the end.

How negatively the chartered seas of my mind flow.

After the big bang is creation; not annihilation!
I listened; I just heard wrong; that's all!

    Don't crucify me for it
I've died too many deaths of late...

Gazing through a skin-stretched window is a miracle in itself, don't you think?
Amazing potentials exist in a mere seed.

Re: birth; I am truly blessed.

      Hi Kate,

I love how this is a metaphor of the creative process itself. I don't know about you, but for me there is an angst that proceeds the birth of something new. And then from the stored capacity comes
an explosion of creating. It all mirrors the same thing.

What this piece does is mirror the process and tell us not to fear.
It is ok to trust and even be thankful for what comes along.

I really like how you pull this home in these last lines:

Gazing through a skin-stretched window is a miracle in itself, don't you think?
Amazing potentials exist in a mere seed.

Re: birth; I am truly blessed.

And another theme that is here is about seeing a problem as a chance for change and using our potential. It's all in how you look at it? Thanks for sharing your thoughtfulness, Kate.

    Nan

This is very interesting....I first thought that this was through the eyes of the universe, but now I'm not so sure. It still fits, but..I dunno. I really like this. It is true, that amazing potentials exist in mere seeds. Good job!
