    Description:
I really do. I wonder if my parents knew what they were doing to my interpretation of the universe, when they bought me The Sims 1 oh so many years ago...

you know when you're playing sims
and you don't have enough money
so you buy the small house
    and litter it with things-
    potted plants, desk lamps
    hot tubs, bookshelves
    TV sets, armoires
    loveseats

then the sims try to get to the bathroom, but
the house is too cluttered with
    useless items, bought to make
    the diamond above their head
    bright green- "happiness"
    and the sims get stuck
between a table and a chair
    and they make sim-noises,
    complaining to you (God)
that their universe is poorly constructed
    and hard to navigate.

    can't move,
because there's so much junk everywhere.
that turtleneck I thought I needed,
    volume 9 of D N Angel,
    pens, pencils
    textbooks, notebooks, lab books,
    everywhere I look
    useless items.
I wonder, is there a green diamond
    hovering above my head?

    Hmmm...

what if you're simply another sim being manipulated by another set of hands in a virtual universe of your own? Sorry, just typing out loud.

I do see a subtle critique of materialism here, as well as a nod to poor parenting/ leadership skills (goddess of clutter begets followers of clutter begets universe of clutter).

Maybe it's time to purchase a larger house?

    7. What was unclear?
    8. What does it remind you of?
    9. How could it be improved?

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
