A Melody dots

Day is settling and not a cloud

In sight

But then I hear the soft whisper

In my ear

And see a gleam of light come from behind
The trees

The moon has settled down
For the night

I say good morning to the trees

And good morning to the whisper

...A soft melody

The birth of hope in a new day would be my interpretation of this beautiful poem. There's an uplifting feel in this one with a whisper, a melody, and a gleam of light. A very fitting write for the spring! Enjoyed, Sharon :-)
