I met a guy. We stand right next to each other yet we're world's apart...

    You're the dream I had
but I cant touch your soft reality
    You're the love I smelled
I'm too far away now for tasting

Tell me what you think about hoping
Am I a fool for even trying?
    But can I even try?

    You're the light I felt
so warm against my tender heartaches
    You're the healing hand
though limited on pain you take

    Show me what perfection means
Are your flaws everything I need?
    Flawed you are, perfectly

Between us lies the glass of truths
we can hear but cannot touch
somehow we touched each other from miles away
and for me, that is enough

    But someday you'll touch me

I thought "Show me what perfection means
Are your flaws everything I need?
Flawed you are, perfectly" was really cool. I liked this poem for it reminded me of those times i have thought intensly about someone and wondered if they were, at that same moment, thinking intensely about me and that somehow they might feel my feelings, even though i was hundreds of miles away from them.
