you say you don't want to talk
    unless im sober
    what makes you think
that i want to remember that day?

i dont want to remember that day
    what started out good
    turned to hell

    Death was the way
    Death was my path
    but because of you
    i stopped...i lived

my closest friend died that day
    another was heartbroken
i carried a burden and lost them both
    because i couldn't help them

    i hope you understand
    i hope you forgive me
i hope you don't stay mad
because i chose not to remember

    forgive me here
    forgive me now
    but if you dont
    ill try to understand
ill try to deal with it...

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
