    dotsSaved by a demondots

    Looking back at photos,
I saw how I was as a child.
Even at seven, I already learned.
Learned to put on a mask,
    I already learned to hide.
I started walking a lonely path.
A path that will eventually bring me here,
    A crossroad of my life.
To choose to reject love and be a demon?
Or to accept love and be a mortal?

    A demon told me tonight.
He told me of the prices…
What we have to face as a demon.
He never thought I would chose this path,
Never thought I will turn like him…
    Except for one thing,
I murdered someone and he saved that person.
Now he is trying to save me.
Stripping himself of being a demon. Why?
To save that person and me from myself.

    I knew the price,
    Still I killed him,
Him, the one I longed and dreamt for,
The one that accepted my twisted soul.
I rejected him. My dream, my love.
I was so close to walking down that path.
    But I was saved.
    He was saved.
    Saved by a demon,
    The final irony of it…

this is really creative and i never really looked at things that way.
like you said, it is pretty ironic.

Even at seven, I already learned.
Learned to put on a mask,

i really liked that and it just kind of spoke to me and made a lot of sense.
i kinda like how it's somewhat like a story and yet something deeper and more than that.
