The way things were, it was chaos all the time
there were a few rays of light for me
as i'm sure it was the same for your son
We both must have viewed enough abuse to last far longer than what we wanted it to.

My ray of light was my Mom, i'm sure you were his
when we were scared out of our wits for you two, you taught us both life lessons through your pain.

i remember the strikes, I remember the screams, above all Craig and I remember the tears. Somehow we made it, all four of us.
We found better lives down the line where things made sense, and the pain subsided.

It's just hard to think about, and now this
You're gone, and your son's light is extinguished. You will be missed. Never saying the last goodbye always leaves a hole that never gets filled in, I hope your son will mend, and doesn't live in darkness.

Thank you for being an inspiration in a world where things were fucked up. People like you and my mother endured so much and i'd like to thank you for that. I'll still remember you, and the memories that I do have of you. As you will, please watch over your son.

Well, I've read this a couple of times, and I guess I really just want to say that I'm sorry for your loss. I don't know these people and I never heard you talk of them, but I think from what I do know, I understand the situation, and I'm sorry you lost someone that was something good in your life. Like you said, you will always remember her for who she was and the things that she did to make you proud to have known her. I'll pray for Craig and for all the family. As for where all the angels are going....I don't know for sure, but I wish I a few of them would stay a little longer on earth. Take care Brent. ~hailie~
