My heart is a door left open,
    Itís a window,
    With glass thatís broken.
    But how would you know?
    You wouldnít believe the death,
    She put me through,
    I held my breath,
    Just to get to you,
    But you made it worse,
    It really hurts-
    But how would you know?
My heart is a door left open,
    Itís a window,
    With glass thatís broken.
    But how would you know?

Look at what we do to each other,
We tear ď us Ē apart,
    Donít tear out my heart,
    But see me,
If you ever want to love again,
    Because Iím not like them.

    You wouldnít happen to know,
    Now would you?
    If it doesnít show,
    Than let it go,
    But how could you?
    You donít know the fight,
    Or the reasons I write--
    But how would you know?

Look at what we do to each other,
We tear ď us Ē apart,
    Donít tear out your heart,
    But see me,
If you ever want to love again,
    Because Iím not like them.

    Candle light-
    On a porcelain photograph,
And the metal tears I cry on the floor,
    Tonight,
Here I am, accept my soul,
    Make things right,
    Make me whole,
    Open your door,
    But how could you now?

Look at what we do to each other,
We tear ď us Ē apart,
    Donít tear out our hearts,
    But see me,
If you ever want to love again,
    Because Iím not like them.

    Candle light-
    On a porcelain photograph,
And the steel fears I ply on the floor,
    Tonight
    Candle light-
    On a porcelain photograph,
And the metal tears I cry on the floorÖ
