Her first message:
I think you spend way to much time trying to debunk God,and prove Him not to be.Its obvious that this is on your mind quite a bit,or you wouldnt do so much research to post in your blogs.I do think you protest to much.I hope you find some peace in your life, because some things are True wether you believe them or not.
Thank you for your concern. Is it so wrong to question something that is being forced onto me by the world? Everywhere you turn someone is advocating his or her religion in some way or another. Have you never questioned your faith, or do you just blindly follow all that you are told?
I have to question whether or not you actually read the entire blog. If you did, you would know that I am not attempting to debunk 'God', but the Christian faith in general. I firmly believe that there is a higher power, but I think Christianity has gotten it wrong. I have seen no obvious proof of a god, but I have also haven't seen anything completely disproving a god for that matter, so until further notice I am agnostic.
Who knows? Maybe I will burn in 'hell' for my lack of faith. Would that make you happy? If that is the case, then I shall personally thank god himself for creating me to be such a questioning fellow, thus damning me to an eternity of suffering for his apparent entertainment.
"Oh, but God gave you freewill so you can do whatever you want with your life!"
Yeah? Well doesn't God love me? Have you ever been truly in love, Madam? Don't you do anything in your power to protect your loved ones? Wouldn't you die just so your loved ones would never have to suffer one single second of their lives? You would? So that either means that A) 'God' doesn't actually care a bit about me, or B) You haven't been in love so you don't really know what I am talking about.
Anyways, thank you for this message and feel free to reply, because I would enjoy calmly discussing this topic further with you.
Well sir,to answer your question, someone already died for you.As for faith being opressed on you...I dont see a whole lot of that in todays world, christianity isnt that popular anymore.I am sure a lot of people question their religion,I dont say I am "religous',but I do say I am a follower of Christ, and yes I would die for Him,because I am in love with Him.He saved me.Sir,I am typing this in a calm fashion.I didnt condemn you,I was just questioning why you are so angry. It wouldnt make anyone happy for you to burn in 'hell".God says,"It is my wil that no man should perish".Sir,if I went by what the world sold me,I sure wouldnt be following Christ.Today everything is "relative" and Christianity is seen as old fashioned. But,I dont believe in God because it is popular I believe in Him because I know Him.He wants to know you also.
Ok, so god sent his only son to die for my sins? Let's take a short look at the original sinners, Adam and Eve. Not only did god create those two knowing that by doing so, he would be forever damning humanity to a life of sin, but also he went through the trouble to place the almighty 'Tree of Knowledge' in the garden with them for the apparent sole purpose of tempting Adam and Eve. God knew that by doing all of these things, he would be damning his creations to a life of sin. So why even allow sin? God says it is his will that no man shall perish? Most policemen and firefighters also follow the same code, but the difference here is that they are actually saving lives.
You don 't see any religion being forced upon people? Parents force religion upon their children before they are old enough to make decisions like that on their own. Church advocates wander town fairs and other various town gatherings stopping people and preaching their religion. My own little sister is told daily she is going to hell by people in her school. Christian people. Why do they tell her this, you may ask? Because she is a Wicca, and obviously this goes against one of god's 10 commandments. (The one about false idols.) I don't know if you know much about Wiccan culture, but basically they worship nature, as well as the God and Goddess that preside over everything. And, unlike Christianity, it doesn't advocate rape, murder, and slavery. They follow a simple principle that goes, "Harm none." Here are some passages to follow up on my claim that the Bible promotes rape, murder, and slavery.
As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.
Here are some more that I'll let you look up for yourself if you so wish:
(Judges 21:10-24 NLT)
(Numbers 31:7-18 NLT)
(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NAB)
(Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)
(Leviticus 20:13 NAB)
(Exodus 22:19 NAB)
(2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)
(Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
(Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)
(Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
So, if Wiccans are headed for hell, I'd say the whole boatload of us are.
Sir,my we by nomeans do we support rape or murder. I am sorry you feel this way.Yes I have done research on wicca.I am not debating with you anymore.Obviousley you have your mind made up.God gives us choice. He says "choose".Some parents may force,in turn usually children will rebel against this.Good parents just teach.Do you think if parents were obselete, the world would be better.?
The end. :(
