Letter to my Love by Dandan

One day, I shall be your wife: for now, I will simply be yours.

My angel, my love,

We have traveled across a county together. We have, the two of us, found our way to the beginning of a new future, one which - one day soon - we will learn to forge, together.

I will always be true and faithful to you, devoted in full, to you, and you alone.

However long it should take, I will endeavor, in every way possible (and sometimes seemingly impossible) to find my way to your side - so I may love you from near, and no longer afar.

I shall bear no ring upon my fingers, until it is that which you place upon it, binding me forever to you. Should you buy it from a vending machine at some obscure place, it would not matter, so long as it were from you.

Every moment, you breathe a new life into me, and new inspiration for each moment, a desire to strive a little bit harder, a little bit further….
… for you.

I have never been so afraid, and yet so confident, as in this moment I am in my entire life.

In order to return to your side, I must leave it, for but briefly, so that I may make our dream a reality -

I am assured that you will succeed, no - flourish - in whatever you set your mind to. I will be with you soon, and never be out of your reach again. I am always with you…

If, for some reason, your determination should falter, I will be simply a phone call away to reassurance and faith. I believe in you. I have full trust in your capabilities. You’ve made it this far: don’t turn back now. You’ve worked too hard for this.

I love you, my dearest. I will miss you, gravely. But parting for only a short while will make our reunion but sweeter, for I have to look forward to the moment I am in your arms once again.

My lips are waiting for your sweet kiss, my body, the embrace that only you can provide. You are as is no other. I will not substitute your love for any other - no other would suffice.

I will float on every word that escapes your lips - they will guide me through each day in bliss.

You are the most beautiful person I have ever met.

Distance is but a creation of the mind, a figment of the psyche which, in time, we will overcome.

You will be my husband, and I, your wife. I will love you always, I promise.

Every night, I will look to the stars, and know that you are under the very same heavens;
Every morning - to the sun - knowing that you look to the same glorious sunrise in thoughts of me.
When it rains, I shall bask in the splendor of such magnificence, because we have experienced such acts of nature - such tears - with one another before that time;
And on clear, sunny days, I will revel in the though of you, warm on my body, as if you were pressed against me in slumber.

I will speak of you always:
Your name shall never cease to cross my lips, and you shall be the thought that occupies my mind.
You are my every dream, my every happiness,
I will thrive in the knowledge that soon, I shall spend every morning waking up to an angel, and every night, falling asleep in the arms of my greatest love.

It is so difficult to go. Farewells are most difficult when neither wishes to say goodbye. But all things come in due time.

What is meant to be, will be -
And I am meant to be yours, and you are meant to be mine.

I will be she who tends to your every need, whatever it may be.
I will be she who is mother to your children, and lover to your very essence.
Every smile that should cross my face, you will have placed there,

Look out to the beautiful view you now have. You are as the steady, unmoving mountain, majestic against the sky, all others are as the clouds: I will not even take notice, for they would only obscure then view I wish to see: they pass on y.

No other will love you as I do, my dear; no other will lie down before you in love and utmost admiration. I wish to be the one. The only. She who fulfills your every need and exceeds your expectations. I want to be your source of pride, your hope to continue forward: for our sake.
