A bullet was shot
Blood rushing from my heart
I did die that night
Never thought
I would die be killed by a spy
Who turned out to be, none other
Than my own lady a lie
Ten days back from today
I met her own my way
At a place where she used to stay
She was young and lonely
With no one to spend a day
I spoke to her
Man of true words
My name – The Bard
I have come here lady
To make myself your lord
My fame-
I am the secret card
Working for India on accord
She did cry
I don’t know why?
Hugged me so tight
I felt it was falling the sky
I led a happy life
For a week maybe
Until I heard the thought
Which was nagging in my mind
Kept telling to me
I was sometimes being blind
I needed to unwind
The truth about past, her behind
It was then I realized
She had me all the time hypnotized
The realization
Caused in her a source
The force of which
Knocked me down the course
I dint regret
Cause I never did believe in love
It was for her
Who made me live in love?
A day back from today
She was searching my room
I tried to stop her
She tried using a broom
She wanted to fight
And even tried to bite
I knew what she was looking
There was something fishy cooking
She was looking for the files
That contained India’s new missiles
I kept it in a box
And the key was in my socks
A gun was pointed at my face
I was forced to tell its trace
I had to tell
She did smile at me
Her last smile
And asked in style
My last wish
Her mind was acting like a fish
She thought I would be selfish
Or would I ask for my last dish
I replied,
I don’t have a request
I have finished my quest
And now I will rest
With these words
I did end my life
Cause she shot at my heart
And it was time I did depart
Falling down
Losing my life
I saw her eyes
Filled with shock
Not able to talk
No! It was not for me
She was not depressed of my death
But in her mind
It was rewinding my last words
About my finished quest
“Her mind it was thinking
Was it true?
Could it be?
Has he tricked me?”
She had no time to lose
Had to run
Leave this country
They were behind her the ministries
She did escape
Arrived at a new cape
Opened the box
Using a rock
But all she heard
Was the ticking of the clock?
She had no time
To look what was inside
Before that there was a blast
And like a pointing guide
Her bones were lying on the beach side.
