Description: There is no love more forbidden (except the curse of incest maybe) than to fall in love with your best friend’s boyfriend, who also happens to be your boyfriend’s best friend. I am sorry, this a selfish poem that is very much in the self help category.
We both know that she is a little crazy
We both can see that she is a little tubby
We both know that she is a little stupid
We both can see that she is a little ugly
And yet it is I who is writing this poem
I have flirted
Smiled at your every joke
Touched your arm and held your gaze
I have pouted
Picked you up whenever you wished
Made myself gorgeous and toned in every way
And yet I am forced to write a poem about being lonely
I have long since sold my soul to feel this resentment
I have brimmed full with rage and then some
Whenever you call her name
Touch her leg
Kiss her lips
Or especially when she rings me at three in the morning to tell me you made love to her for the first time
I am a broken woman
Everyday I am force fed to her dogs
To be ravaged and then laid bare
Except my feelings are never bare
For this, sweet Pandora, is a box that can never be opened
I am a twit; I am an idiot
I am filled with rage
I am biting thick through my tongue to hold back the energy that pulses through me whenever I see you
And so I am cursed.
Glorious - I know well the forbidden love, though my situation was slightly different - I was in love with my friend's older brother while her twin brother was in love with me while my other friend was dating the older brother . . . twisted, isn't it? I think you protray the feeling of pent-up frusteration nicely.
THIS IS HILARIOUS! I believe the proper title for it is "Sweet Grandmother After Eating Yogurt, Smoking Three Cartons of Cigarettes, and Drinking Half a Quart of Milk." Oh The Jealousy. Oh the Lust. Oh the Drama. and people call ME a sinner. Nah. I'm only joshing you. It was pretty funny though. It enver does any good to love anyone at all. Those who you love, will never love you, And those who love you, you will never truly love. It's a fact of life. Some people just don't get it. Soap operas are so popular because they are so life like. That is how it actualy works. People cheat, people lie, people are disgusting. This people shows it perfectly. It is quite funny. I am still giggling like a schoolgirl
