    He waits
    Silent like a marsh
    You forgot
    Echoes that bring only pain
    Going nowhere

    In the time
It takes your cigarette to burn
    He will be gone
    Going nowhere

    His thumb outstretched
    Looking anything but lost
    You didn't call
He gets in the cab of a truck
    Going nowhere

He sips the last of his beer
Not as composed as he appears
Sitting alone with only thoughts of you
    Going nowhere

I like it, it seems to be refering to a drifter image in my view, im not much of a fan for brief poetry but i like the idea of someone here and then gone like they were never there

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
