Description:

Another five minute poem based from the way I feel right now. I needed to write, because my hands were screaming at me. I do not mind how aweful this might sound, because it is completly freeflow. If there are any questions feel free to ask. :)

Submerging

Listless, and still
I am not moving
I wear the facade
But I am too selfish
To hear your voice
Caught in my own reflection
It is not you I see
Lost to thought
Lost to emotion
Too worldly tempted
I lay where I've fallen
Stone to mind
Stone to thought
What am I
But a broken angel
And I'm becoming stone
Only fire can revive the flesh of heart
Only passion can awake this shell
Dust of neglect cover the past
Apathy hardening my intimacy
I can not see what others are seeing
What lies ahead that I can not see
Will I awake from my dreams

Nicely done here, a brooding and highly meditative piece of poetry, almost a self-interogatory... deftly done all around ... bravo... bravo ... bravo ... michael
