    dotsI'm Like a Broken Toy.dots
    -------------------------------------------

    Iím like a broken toy,
    No words are ever spoken,
You pull my string to hear my voice,
But it seems that I am broken.

You put me down on a chair,
And leave me while youíre gone,
I feel so useless this is not fair,
There is no use for me here.

    I wait and wait,
    For what seems like hours,
    And still no one appears.

I hear your steps coming so close,
And a bright light shines within me.
I feel a sudden burst of hope,
That maybe youíll still play with me.

    You pick me up,
    I feel so proud,
That a toy which is broken,
    Can shine so loud,

You take me to dark, dark place,
    And I begin to wonder,
How can you play where you canít see?
And then I feel the thunder.

    You hold me up,
    And look at me,
Iím not quite sure of your actions.

    You take me vigorously,
    Then throw me down,
I have no clue what happened.

I want to burst into tears,
    For I was thrown away,
Unfortunately all I am is a broken toy,
That no longer can be used for play.

you have so much potential... and you are so good as it is. check out some of my work. you remind me of how i wrote at your age. i was so confined by language. i really enjoyed this piece, but you're holding yourself back because life and words have a tendency to not make sense unless you let them and embrace their incoherence as beautiful.. Much luck, it gets better, i promise.
