what does it take for me to be
noticed the way i want to be

i want to stand out away from the crowd
instead of hiding under a stone

people see me as they want
a mask of black and grey

    and everyone knows damn well
that , that just isn't me

judgement, and hatred swarms around me
making me dizzy with disbelief in me

but life is like that and its just how it is
noone can save the invisible me

i liked this one pretty much. the title is really good too. if it was a little longer, it might make a good song. if you don't mind, i'd like to say that this poem sounds to me like a teenager who's facing problems at school, maybe, regarding their sexual orientation. it's really sad, if you ask me. you'd think by now people would learn to accept that there's nothing wrong with being gay.

i like it. sometime i feel invisible. but only when i want to. i you really want to be noticed, rather than hiding under you rock, get out and move. do somehting. thats what i would do. at first they may not notice but do things that you wouldnt normally do. write something special for one person and present it to them in front of some people, let that one person know how much time you put into it and how hard you worked on it. tell that person in front of them that that one piece is for them, then wait for everyone else to want one too. they'll notice you. i did that one time and i still have people asking me for poetry with thier names in it. they'll notice you. maybe in a subtle way, in the back of thier minds, but they'll know you're there. so take what you are good at, what you like, which i would guess is writing or else why else would you sign on to this site, and make it who you are.
