    dotsLook to the Sky (revised)dots

Iíve waited so long for you.
The one I trust with my life
    And my heart.
The one who inspires me to try to be
The person I want to be.
Your strong arms are my refuge,
    My sanctuary.
It is paradise to lay my head on your chest,
To feel its gentle rise and fall as you breathe,
To inhale your enchanting, unrivaled scent
And to listen to the vital cadence
    Of the heartbeat I need
    More desperately than my own.

While I wait for you once more,
Iíll etch sweet nothings across the sky,
And let the clouds deliver them to where you are.
    Iíll rearrange the stars
To express how much I miss you.
Iíll beseech the sun to warm your days,
The gentle breeze to cool your skin,
And the moon, as I gaze upon it,
To reflect the love that glows in my eyes.
    I will endure the time,
Count myself blessed that you are mine,
    And think of you
Each time I look to the sky.
