im not sure you need the repetition of 'ashes to ashes dust to dust'
i say this because the line itself is somewhat cliché potential and dont wanna keep reminding the reader of that.
but between each ashes to ashes dust to duest you make vlaid life statements. and all of them have the potential to die too...
i like your love/lust one.
that is very true.
i get the idea from this piece with jesus' return being your first ashes to ashes statement that this is written from a christian perspective. they are big on love/lust though the difference isnt always as easy to identify as some of the christian youth communicators i have heard over the years tell me it is...
Living is a privilege
Not a must
this is interesting to me.
i went to ethiopia kinda as a missionary to teach english voluntarily for 6 months and everyone saw me as some kind of hero... giving up eevrything i had to go somewhere that had nothing and where i would have nothing but to me... it wasnt a sacrifice at all... it was a priveledge... these people embraced me and i embraced their culture. i had everything i needed and went without nothing. i had the most wonderful time of my life there. i dont think i had been happier in all my life.
life is not a must.
that speaks to me of suicide. some kind of escape clause but it also says to me that you should be thankful for every day coz it may be your last...
yeah... wisdom is completely individual in some respects but as a song... you seem to have it covered. if i were to write a wisdom song mine would be something like that song 'everyones free [to wear sunscreen]'
