    dotsThe Last Crusaderdots

My heart swollen with blood and passion
Rides the waves of chaos and destruction
My wings dark as the starless sky
I rest among bodies veiled red dye
With no dream granted to my mind
I am lost as the last of my kind

Tears shed in my soulís chasm
    Screams in the still phantom
Fires that burn the blood to boil
Consumes those resting in the soil
The sunset takes the last light into extinction
A hallow night to the wraith of retribution

Strikes me as a cross between a sonnet and free verse war poetry. I've never seen this before I have no idea where the previous statement came from, I just felt it that way.
'the words are large, but the heart aches for more.'

I am not at complete loss of words. I have just enough to say that this is something of likeness which I have been waiting for. A favorite at best. Your poetry is miraculous and I ask of you to keep doing the splendid job because I can see that fantasy is an excellent genre for your writing style. I enjoyed this thoroughly. The rhyming was done like a charm.
