    Lost in this familiar place
Once again, staring in front of me with no clue of where I am
    Surrounded by familiar faces
With no idea of who they are
I find myself strapped to a raised surface
    Head split open, thoughts showing
Can hardly recognize the features of my face
Surgical pain by the hands of my own
Chest ripped apart, heart and soul exposed
    Lungs collapsed, nothing intact
And poking away by those of which Ive always known
Yet I find myself in two positions
Dying from the inside as I lie on this board
While stabbing away at myself, inner friction
On the outside joining their ranks
I am my own devil, my own demon
I am a murderer of selves and this bringer of pain
The only cause of these hateful feelings
The surgical doctor of my own demise
The contradiction to everything I know is right
For I am my own devil, my own killer
I, myself, am my own disease
