    Somehow, I find myself
    at midnight in the solitude
    being quite content
    and quite alone.

    Somehow, I see myself
    in the darkened window
and I smile a sweet thought
    for me to hear.

    Somehow, I hide myself
    from every chance encounter,
    every twinge of longing,
    and every lunge at love.

    Somehow, I imagine myself
    in this lonely room
    being with someone else
    and being in joy.

    Somehow, I understand myself
at this time of night and life
    and understanding that somehow...

    I see
    I hide
    I imagine
    I understand.

I canít stop thinking of you.

nice piece, indeed. i dont have very much to say about this but i somehow want to. i think its wonderful how you describe the feeling of love or longing. but this is too simple for my taste, dont get me wrong, i like it, but i read it and i said to myself "yeah, thats how it feels", and that was it. i think you could make something magnificant out of that piece if it would just be a bit more profound.
or maybe im just too dumb for you.

I understand this completely and I would just like to let you know that your piece explained the thought so very well. That second stanza hit home and you've created a vey relatable piece. It's pleased me beyond measure to read some one's work that specify's all the ideas ive been thinking but have been gto cautious to write down. Very nice. Good luck and I wish you the best. Always, Ash.
