    -------------------------------------------

I want nothing more than to lie in the grass with you.
And laugh under a morning sun and squint as we mumble stories of way back days.
Let's pinky swear that this moment won't slip away.
    Shall we?
Never mind the world as it passes by.
    Let them stare.
    I want nothing more.
    Nothing more.
    Nothing more.
    Than you.

I want nothing more than a cup of coffee with you.
And watch the steam fog up your glasses and share bands discovered.
Let's swap headphones in this corner of the store.
    Shall we?
Never mind the music playing overhead.
    Let it play.
    I want nothing more.
    Nothing more.
    Nothing more.
    Than this.

This soundtrack to this unspoken promise.
You know this means so much, this little,
Meaningless to you, but meaning so much to me,
This little deep breath of acoustic happiness
gone electric. Now let's play it on the radio.

I want nothing more than to take to the highway with you.
And count the yellow lines as they wave goodbye and throw caution to the wind.
Let's swap bad habits at rest stops.
    Shall we?
Never mind the miles ahead of us.
    Let them pass.
    I want nothing more.
    Nothing more.
    Nothing more.
    Than you.

Tick tock, tick tock, the radio has been unlocked
Tick tock, tick tock, time passes and and here we walk
Tick tock, tick tock, our past is outlined in chalk
tick tock, tick tock, I wanted nothing more than to....

This soundtrack to this unspoken promise.
You know this means so much, this little,
Meaningless to you, but meaning so much to me,
This little deep breath of acoustic happiness
gone electric. Now let's play it on the radio.

I really liked this piece. It shows a care free life when your with that person. And thats the most amazing feeling. This poem is really... Touchy in like a good way. it really makes you want everything, it makes you want to let go :]

The only thing i didnt like was the "tick tock" throughout the four lines.I think it would have been better without it. or have the sound of the clock in the backround maybe. it was repetitive i guess.

But other then that i really enjoyed it.

I feel this. The wish to be with them whenever and it doesn't really matter what you do as long as your with them. I miss that. The only thing is the way you seperated the lines. You might want to try doing it a different way to make it easier to read.

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
