    -------------------------------------------

Where does it come from? Where does any inspiration come from? How can anyone randomly start thinking about any piece of beauty and then produce it flawlessly? Michael was presented a great stone, and he saw the David within when everyone else could not. Da Vinci created the Mona Lisa from the mere looks of an ordinary woman, yet we are fascinated by her wonderous smile. Why?
It seems that there can be many classifications to beauty, and many have been made for millions of years and some have not even been made. Some are outside in the rain or inside in your lover's eyes. Of all this endless beauty, where does it end?
Does beauty only continue because the eye of the beholder changes? True, trends have significantly changed over the decades and centuries, but so has the mind of the people who dress in those trends. With the evolving minds, there has also been evolving ideas and thoughts. Clothes has changed. Shoes. Hair. Architecture. Art. Music. Language. and so much more.
I started out this essay (I guess is the best thing to call it) just looking in the mirror and wondering about my own beauty. Is it worth something? In this time? In my own generation? Or was I misplaced?...meant to be in another time and place. Does anyone else ever feel like that? Like somehow they just don't belong?
I believe that once beauty is created, it is never lost. Although, the popular trends may exist, it will soon fade but there will be someone out there who still carries or wants to carry on the trends that were set long ago. Jazz music is not as popular as Rap or Rock, but some person right now is driving their car listening to it on their radio. The hippie generation faded, but there are still people out there wearing tye-dye and listening to the Beatles. There is Roman ruins all over Italy, filled with grand archways and beautiful paintings, but there are many homes and buildings being built in that same way. Beauty was made, and it stayed.
My conclusion that I hope I am coming to, is that although there is beauty that does change, such as the dress a woman wears or the buildings a family lives in, there is beauty that never changes. Dawn will continue to occur everyday 24 hours and there will always be many people everyday who will get up from their cozy beds just to go say "good morning" to the waking sun. Waterfalls will continue to rush down to a pool of water and there will always be those people going near or under it, just to get a feel. There will always be a mother out there who sees her child as the light of her life.
Such beauty will never cease to be unpopular or out of date. It will continue and live on because it is so beautiful. So, I have come to the conclusion that no matter where I am or when I am living, my beauty will last.
