    dots"A Thousand Different Ways"dots

    However do I love you?
    Let me count the ways;
I love your darling morning smile,
that helps me start my day!

I love the way you toss your hair
when you're about to venture out,
as if you know just where you're going,
    and proceed without a doubt!

I love your long and sexy legs,
    and marvelous, slender thighs!
I love your childish happy look
when I bring you a surprise!

I love the mischief in your grin
when you're in a playful mood!
You're so much fun to spend time with!
Your loving is just so good!

I love the way you care about
    even little things,
a sparrow with a broken wing,
or a child scuffed on her swing.

How ever do I love you?
To say all would take days!
Just let me say that I love you,
    in a thousand different ways!

RON may I send this to my CHAR for our 42"d anniverssary, and yes I'll tell her YOU wrote it, heck I can't think of such nice words that swing together so well.

This could be considered a master piece, to an old man like me.
Very good my friend, thank you.

if someone said this to me i would just melt...
somehow the last sentences in the 4th and 5th stanza is not as good as the rest...
but it is still sweet and lovely anyway

Ron, I liked everything about this poem except for the last line of the 4th stanza. For some reason that line just didn't work for me and I felt it took some of the pazazz out of the piece. It might just be me...but then that's all i can be is me.

Keep writing brother, you have a certified gift.

I really enjoyed the highlight of the little things about your love that bring you joy - your rhyme was quite tight and flowed easily.

    Good for you for recognizing!

    Happy Day!

    love,peace,joy&smiles to share
