A little personal poem revolving around my life, but it can be viewed religiously as well.

    How art thou, "Father"?
    Has thou missed me yet?
    Am I forgotten,
    Like ashes in the wind?

    Thou traded me,
For a head full of lies.
    Thou treated me negatively,
    Like an unwanted burden.

Thou used me and abused me,
    In the name of revenge.
I was only born into this world,
    But it wasnít my decision.

    Thou may have been hurt,
But not by my hand or mouth.
I should not have to suffer,
    For thouís blindness and ignorance.

Sacrifices and choices are always made.
    Not everyone has happy endings.
Love is supposed to be unconditional,
    Not neglected and ashamed.

My children will come back to me,
Since here is where they belong.
I will not allow them to be treated,
    Like unwanted burdens.
