Dreams

Weak and stumbling she lays in bed Another sleepless night She can feel the dark hands around her neck The only way to say alive Is to stay awake I wait for her every night Behind her pillow In the shadows She refuses to come to me Turn off the lights and come to bed little one I’ve been waiting for such a long time She strays away from the dark She knows I can eat her alive Her intellect makes me sick Why do the ones with all the pain Fight the hardest I can take the pain away Forever Yet she hides from me A pitiful thing to do because I will have her If not today then tomorrow I am a patient man I can wait years if I have to But she cannot She is weak Just like all the others So just turn of the lights and come to bed little girl Let me make your dreams come true
