    As pebbles tossed reach ocean’s floor,
    which ripple seeks the farthest shore?
    Though humbly voiced, a simple whim
    shall not remain unnoticed, dim.
    While pleasures shared grow dearer still,
    two hearts’ true love warms winter’s chill.

    As shadows lengthen, hours succumb;
    each life shall tabulate its sum.
    Sweet memories remaining strong
    encompass years slipped by too long.
    Reflecting on life’s mirrored days,
    small flaws seem then but castaways.

      I reallly like this one as well. This poem flows so well, I never skipped a beat reading it. I love the context , it is very sweet and to the point.

      For such a short poem, this one speaks volumes! This is great Sharon, and it is truly delightful in it's message and in it's structure! Bravo!

      A wonderful poem! You make rhyming look so easy. I'm wondering why I haven't read any of your poems before on this site. I can't wait to read them. Love the poem.
