    -------------------------------------------

    Darkness has not fallen,
    darkness has only risen,
in the depths of her heart,
    the hatred has settled in,
to take over a life of joy,
a life of happiness and beauty.

    Suicidal thoughts gone wry,
    weeping tears of blood,
    when the forgotten word,
    will never be forgotten,
she trembles with sadness over due,
and her screams are left unheard.

The ties that bind life and joy,
broken by the hand of life,
    the hand that gave birth,
to an unwanted world of hate,
where her questions are left unanswered.

    Cut and bruised,
    in the middle of conflict,
    i watch and weep,
    listen and bleed,
    with sorrow and fear,
for losing a friend thought dear,
i beg her to stop and turn.

I watch as my blood is spilt,
    for her i'd do anything,
to show her she's not alone,
    and running isn't the answer,
turn around and face the fear,
fix the problem and settle in truth.

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
