The cuts on her wrist Say where she’s been The battles she’s lost And the sights she’s seen She’s the prettiest girl With dark brown eyes But she hides her sad story Behind thousands of lies Her pretty little sad smile Shows what happiness And what energy is left. She’s in despair, but smiles nonetheless And she sits on my swing In the rain every now and again And when I see her smile I see all her pain I knew her once, I wish I still could Her life she ended Before something else would |
That is a powerfull piece. It's a touchy subject so I won't dig into it. "I knew her once, I wish I still could Her life she ended Before something else would" This stanza is hard to read, not literally but the meaning behind it. It's enough to hurt your heart. I hope she found peace....I'm sorry for your loss. | Posted on 2007-08-08 00:00:00 | by theDevilsPocket | [ Reply to This ] | |
