I’m watching you,
Your watching me,
Every move you make is torturing,
Your kisses fall where they may,
The ground is icy,
But all I feel is the warmth of you.
Way to wonderful to be truth,
And yet, I feel it all.
Bitter, numb winter,
In the flame of eternal love.
The sparkle of frozen nature,
Her face framed in pink skin.
We stare, and say nothing.
I reach,
But she shies away.
Then one swift movement,
And I’m caught.
In a tangle of love and lust,
Halted at the gates of winter.
What will become of us when summer slinks,
Will it fall apart?
Like the snowflakes that drift,
Or it will be forevermore?
Frozen in time. |
