    Description:
I originally wrote this poem one morning while, literally, listening to a lonely crow and morning birds.
I don't really know a better description than that. It basically describes myself and how I feel about it. I'll have to come back another time and give a better one.

    dotsA Lonely Crowdots
    -------------------------------------------

    A single crow sings
    a loud and lonely song
    outside my window
    amidst the chorus of
    the morning birds.

    It forces me to
    think of myself in
    such a familiar way.

    I, too, sing a
    loud and lonely song
    amongst the others
    but somehow go unnoticed,
    except by those few
    sitting in their rooms
    listening to the birds.

ooh, this was different, and, may i say, very poetic. you created a fantasy kind of world that seems so beautiful and distant, but know one seems to realize that they (could) exist in it every day. and the end was probably the most wonderful part. it could be interpreted in oh so many ways. "it's mind bottling. you know, when you get so many thoughts you wish you could bottle 'em all up." but, really, the end was fantastic, and the whole write truly incredible. it's the kind of thing that i can relate too, when you feel like you're in a cage and you don't know why or if anyone cares...mornings can be hard...i'm totally adding it to my faves. have you heard of a band called 'the knife'? this reminds me of them a bit. crows are some of my favourite birds, and animals as well. great job!
