I wrote this on Aug 20th of this year....
We wonder why these things happen
We hold on to what…to who we can.
As these things consume us to some degree
We lie in our beds at night re-thinking our day
And the events that transpired within these days that pass us by.
Some things bring tears to our eyes
We roll over into our pillows and cry
(We’ve all done it)
Other things… bring smiles to our faces
And butterflies to our stomachs
Yet we still wonder why these things happen
Do we… Do you?
Ever wonder what’s going on to others?
Why they may hurt?
Why they may feel the same pain you and I do?
Why there are…
Why would such a great and amazing God
Allow so much pain and hurt to happen?
Do you ever go searching for these…?
For the answers?
Maybe it's imperfection that is the real beauty,
Within this world we all live in.
Although there is no beauty from …
Or Sex Offenders
Maybe, just maybe the beauty lies beyond the human eyes!
Maybe it’s the justice received?
The food that is fed to those hungry little tummies
Abusive parents getting the needed help
And those sex offenders caught and tried for their wrongful actions
Although there are nasty things that live, breathe and sleep within our world.
Although we cannot feed every starving child
Or stop all abusive parents
And catch all the sex offenders
We are getting closer everyday…
With everyone’s help and support!

Haha, I'm glad beauty is on the inside as well, if it was on the outside I'd be ****ed. Haha, good poem/write. Shadow

Cool, nice write, we'll get them goddamn sex offenders, haha. Anyway, it's a cool poem, justice is beauty, especially when you see them go to prison, but if God exists maybe he's just lazy, heheh. Laters, Shadow

Excellent questions, and an excellent, contemplative composition that we would all do well to read and think on!!!
