    dotsThe four swords (spoiler alert)dots

    The Sword of Ages:
The origins of this blade are uncertain, it was only discovered when used to end the siege of the monastery on Leiragi by the True Chosen One. It was used by him for the rest of the War of the Ancients, up to the final battle on Sarn Gebir. At that point, following his death, the sword vanished, its fate unknown for millions of years, until it was rediscovered by accident. It was in the possession of a terrifying warlord from a parrallel universe, known only as "The Collector". When he was overthrown he and the sword vanished into our universe, only to be tracked down while attempting to locate the fabled Orb of Nightmares. During the ensuing battle between him and the Chosen One it was revealed that the blade he carried was possessed by a demon. When the demon was released, and the warlord had died, the Sword of Ages was returned to its rightful owner, but it had a major part to play yet....

    Bane of the Ancients:
The only one of the four weapons to have no magical properties, this blade's fearsome reputation came from the murderous Ancient who wielded it. However it had come into Bane's possession, the weapon cut a swathe through the Ancient armies, gaining Bane the respect of his demon soldiers. As with the Sword of Ages, this weapon was lost at Sarn Gebir, passing into legend. However, as with its bearer, it was far from gone. While the Alliance forces fought off the Harvester invasion, a mysterious "Dark Herald" was gathering a group of demons together, wielding the Bane of the Ancients. Worse was still to come, for its true bearer was not far behind......

    The Angel Sword:
The first of the two swords linked to the mysterious event known as the "Eternity War", this is thought to predate even the Ancients themselves. Long thought nothing but a foolish myth invented by storytellers, the weapon is in fact very real. While a fake Angel Sword was destroyed during the second Demonic Wars, the battle with the Collector was to bring to everyone's attention the real one. Chasing the Collector using the mysterious "Dimension Sword" (a weapon which appeared to have been cut in half), the Chosen one was in fact carrying the Angel Sword, a fact which would come to light during the final battle against the armies of Bane.

    The Witch Blade:
The most mysterious of all the weapons, if only because there is no proof this actually exists. The second of the "Eternity War" weapons, it is said to be carried by the most powerful of the leaders of the forces of darkness. Ignored for so long since its exsistence is scoffed at, the weapon could be about to turn the tide of the biggest battle of all.....
