Halloween, the day of the harvest
Some take it for a day of hell
I say it’s a day we should reap our blessings
So listen to this little poem
And remember, Halloween is only what you make it
This day, this night
Why does it have to be hours of fright
Sure, there is no life without a good scare
But just listen to the music playing through the air
The soft sounds of the harmonic tune
Passing through the breeze, in the light of the moon
Let a smile pass your lips
As you look to the moonlight tips
Tips of trees and on piles of hay
A day is not evil, unless you make it that way
So let us smile, let us look out the window with no fuss
Let us look out to the moon, and smile in the day God has made us |
