A single feather from a flying bird
Falls to the ground with a sound unheard.

    One feather lost
    Is no great cost.

    The bird flew on,
    And soon was gone.

The feather tha lay beautiful and still,
Soft and delicate, it is soon forgotten at will.

      Hallo there,

I like this poem of yours. In few words you seem to tell a whole story. It is very simple yet meaningful. You have done a nice job.

The feather tha lay beautiful and still,
Soft and delicate, it is soon forgotten at will.

This is my favorite part of the poem.

I will take this opportunity to thank you for your comments on my poem "a longing heart". I appreciate them.

    With love

    Sanam

Umm... I don't really get the metaphor of this poem, its good and sounds catchy, I just didn't quite understand it. Shadow
