    -------------------------------------------

    Donít worry about me,
Iím not afraid to move on,
I wonít lie and tell you I wonít miss you,
But I know the pain will pass.
I can live with out you.

    So donít worry about me,
    Iíll be just fine,
I wonít let the shadows destroy me,
For I know the sun will rise with or without your love,
    The pain may linger,
But I know I can live without you.
    The true question is,
    Can you live without me?

A mightily mature poem! It is wonderful to read something other than that twice awful "woe is me and death to you" teen poems! finely done, loved it! bravo... bravo... bravo... michael

I liked this poem, I just recently had the realization that I can live without her and it is a wonderful thing to feel after all this time, keep writing, Dean

I really like the realism that you portrayed. With the line: "I can live without you". I like how you stayed away from the normal clichť of "I can't live without you" that plagues most poems of this genre.

The only bad thing that i have to say is that in the line: "The pain my linger" I am not sure or not but I think you forgot an "a" in "my"

Anyways, good luck with more writing, I anticipate more from you.
