drizzle of steady rain sings
with drowning voice on rooftops
slicing wind tossing watery spheres
swaying with the storms trees dance
to the humming of thundering
and lightning flashes every chance
with clouds trudging slowly
in the sky's walkway like old men
can only follow the cycle of life
smiling jacko-laterns houses fend
against the rush and wailing weather
glowing with warmth and security
small little faces in window sills
house solidly guards the family
parents reads stories of fairy tales
as little children fall in dreams
grown up talk the night into rest
the storm rage with a lonely esteem
