    -------------------------------------------

She ran blindly through the fields,
    Screaming with her rage.
Why? Why must she endure this pain?

    Arms uplifted to the heavens,
    She prays.
    She prays for peace.
    She prays for serenity,
For a calming wind to blow across her life.

She offers up to the Mother,
    Her love,
    Her light,
    Her heart.
In an attempt to rid her mind and soul of its aching.
An aching that spreads through her body, and chills her spirit.
Why? Why must she endure this pain?

    Arms uplifted to the heavens,
    She prays.
    She prays for peace.
    She prays for serenity,
For a calming wind to blow across her life.

The moon's soft rays float down,
    Carressing her cheek,
A tender wind that dries her tears.
And the Goddess speaks to her,
Through the trees and the flowers,
    Through the moon's gentle flight,
    And the wind's sweet song.
She speaks of tenderness and comfort,
    Of love and light.

    And she prays.
    She prays for peace.
    She prays for serenity.
And she brings forth a calming wind to blow across this girl's life.
