God's glorious envoy, majestic in his loneliness
Shines indifferently on spires and the domes
Looking for the beauty for whom he is ablaze
Haven't you felt the pain in his intense gaze!
With his sanctifying touch, he warms the ephemera
Waking the miracles, hidden in each pore of earth
Embracing the smallest being, conveying God's love
Himself floating solemnly on solitude's curve...
He watches little orphans too, inheritors of the cold pyres
Innocence stifled, besmirched, half dead, half asleep
Songs lie silenced on lips, tears dried forever in eyes
The envoy slowly walks on, alas! burdened with too much light.
