    dotsTo Touch His Dirtdots

    If he were the sky
    I would be the earth
    Because he loves to fly
    And I love to search

    If I were the trees
    He would be the sea
    Because I love the breeze
    And he loves me

If he were here right now
And I could tell him anything
I would tell him that I love him
And that I feel I have lost him

Not to a different woman this time
To something I can not compare with
Something that he thinks sets his mind free
But in reality, it blocks his view - he can not see

    If I were the sky
    And he were the earth
I would want to fly down
    To touch his dirt

is it drugs that are blocking his view?? that's what i got out of it. good thing you were trying to be supportive in this write rather than turning your back on him. i can feel the hurt from the fact that you had lost him to another girl before, even though that wasn't the case this time. fun to read and hopeful.

Great expression here. Excellent job of conveying the personal feelings of affection into something other-wordly.
