    I've grown so small
    And my life is dull
    I'm seventeen
    But God, I feel old
    These wrinkles I feel
    But no one can see
    I'm crippled as well
    And my hands are weak
    I've seen everything
    I've felt every feeling
    I've walked on walls
    And slept on the ceiling
    I'm numb to the world
    Who cares what they think?
    Yeah right, that works
    I care secretly
    I do
    And it's only been
    Two weeks and a day
    You won't hold my hand
    But I choose to stay
    Why? I'm not sure
    I'm going on hope
    I just want to be
    In love and alone
    Don't get me wrong
    I want what I have
    I'm just feeling off
    And terribly sad
    I've lost my best friend
    I've lost all my light
    In fact you are who
    I think about and smile
    I do

      This was a great write! I thik that what's more important on a poem is the feeling u got to transmit, more than the structure, and this piece has both so it's just perfect!
    Keep up the good work, and even when u are going through a hard time take the best of it, like u did on this write! ;)

      Some of the best writing comes from life experiences. Even when we're saddest, there is always that distant light that calls us to take another step, another day, anther try. Your writing skills will get you far and I certainly encourage you to continue! On a personal note, better days are ahead. Trust in that. Sharon
