Burned Burised Battered Broken The body is hallow Lucided thoughts Sense of belonging Lost My skin might be burned My pride is bruised With my mind battered around And a broken heart still bleeds within my chest Hiding within this shell Finding some way to let go Closing my eyes Cutting the ties To life At one point in time Life seemed too perfect Too perfect to be true I believed in one So much Though blind with the passion Called love Time comes to pass Feelings still linger Though unease about his feelings Towards me Hatred Love Or nothing at all Life is a tricky game And this time I was in it to win But came up short handed In the end.
