    dotsShaking The Dustdots

To live in the woods of desire
    In respect to ego's aspire
Is a wondrous hunt for the peer
within to make all things so clear
As to which trees to sit beneath
And which to forsake in relief
    when burdens lay with desire

There is that wind tickling at leaves
Like a living soul that breathes
    Upon ego's tilted game
    listening which way the wind
    While feasting on thoughted dreams
    Empty as a vacant feel
Of how the otherwise can live.

This is the journey emptying soul
    That aspirants make as goal
In decide which fork in the road
Can give a mean to life's true code
Breaking through those swamps of desire
To change that which is in the fire
    Looking at ashes left behind.

I like this piece a lot. It depicts having a crush very well. At the end, are you saying that you have to go beyond the crush, and see that it is a waste? or sometime else altogether?

It seems like you are saying that most of the time, to follow a crush means you are turning your back on others. Sorry if this is way off the intended meaning.
But yeah, i enjoyed it very much, the flow feels a little awkward in a few lines, but not enough to cite specific lines.

    thanks for posting it.
