I Am What I Am, and That's That

I am shy and bright I wonder why people hate I hear the meoldies of my surroundings I see the beauty in the ugliness I want people to see and hear me I am shy and bright I pretend not to care about those who ignore me I feel saddened by what the world has become I touch the wings of the hovering angels I worry about the end of this chapter in life I cry over unworthy things I am shy and bright I understand very little if what is happeng around me I say nothing when I feel hurt I dream of dreaming up a perfect world I try to conceal what I truly feel I hope that someone truly sees me I am shy and bright
